Here's another Christmas card – it's getting close to time to really think about making our Christmas cards!
My apologies that my photos are not coming out very well. Hubby is making a light box for me and that should help tremendously with the pictures. It's been hard to find a place to take the pictures where the light is good and the background is good…….
Back to the card. It's monochromatic today — Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy. I got the color combination from our new Color Coach!
The Not Quite Navy layer is textured with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder. If you don't have a Big Shot, you really need one.
The technique I used is a cool one — the image is inked up with Versamark, then inked with the classic ink pad, and then stamped on the cardstock. While it is still a little damp, sprinkle clear embossing powder over the image and heat. I love the colored image! It needed a little bling, so I added Dazzling Diamonds. I like it! I hope you do, too.
