Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

SUDSOL BLOG TOUR IS HERE!

SUDSOL Blog Tour

Today is the day — the SUDSOL blog tour!!  I am so excited to be part of this tour.

You may have come to my blog from the super talented Tammy Fite's blog.  Isn't she so creative?!  www.stampwithtammy.com

I joined SUDSOL right after I joined Stampin Up as a demonstrator.  I love the chat room and the gallery, and I learn so much from these wonderfully creative ladies.  I found that everyone enjoys sharing their ideas and creativity, so if you need some inspiration, check out all the blogs on this tour.

The first card uses the Heard from the Heart stamp set.  The base card is Poppy Parade, with a black layer, then a very vanilla layer.  I used a 1" x 4" strip of the new Sunny Garden designer paper.  I layered this designer paper on a strip of Daffodi Delight, added a faux bow with Pear Pizzazz ribbon and finished it with 3 of the new Basic Pearls.

This card uses another of my favorite new designer papers – Greenhouse Gala.  The base is Early Espresso.  Then I layered Sahara Sand that I ran through the Big Shot with one of the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates.  Then I layered a strip of Real Red and a strip of Greenhouse Gala designer paper.  I used the new 2-3/8" scallop circle punch with Pear Pizzazz, layered a circle cut from Early Espresso with the Circle Scissors Plus.  Have you tried that?  It's so cool.   I colored Wish Big with the Daffodil Delight and Real Red markers, then stamped it on Very Vanilla, punched it with the new 1-3/4" circle punch.

I finished off the card with a Marina Mist button from the Subtles collection and 3 brown brads from the 5/16" neutral brads.   Sometimes it's the little embellishments that really make the cards pop.  I love the Marina Mist button on the designer paper!

This card makes me feel happy.  I love all the pinks and the rhinestones.  The base is Pretty in Pink.  The next layer is Regal Rose that has been run through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  The next layer is black and the final layer is Very Vanilla.  The stamp set is the new Apple Blossoms, a level 2 hostess set.  I stamped the long leaf stamp in Regal Rose three times without reinking.  Then I stamped the sentiment, also from the new Apple Blossoms set, in Regal Rose.  I finished off the card with the new Basic Rhinestones and a Pretty in Pink faux ribbon bow.  You can just never have enough bling!

One last thing — a cute book mark.  One of my favorite new things is the Owl Punch.  Isn't this just the cutest thing?  I used a little bit of Play Date designer paper, a jumbo paper clip from Staples, and glue dots.  I stamped 2 owls and then stuck them together with the paper clip caught in the middle.

I hope you find something that inspires you to stamp!  Thanks for stopping by.

WOW – these are such creative ideas. The wish big card has beautiful style and of course, you end with my favorite – the owl punch. Putting it on the large paper clip is so cute.
