How fun! Have you enjoyed the blog hop so far? You've just come from Tammy Fite's blog. Doesn't she do great work? I am always inspired by her creativity!
I love the new Love Impressions Designer Paper and the Gimmer Paper. This card uses four of the designs from this paper package plus the Red Glimmer Paper. After I assembled the squares and ran it through the big shot with the top note die, I ran it through the big shot one more time with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I like the extra dimension it gives the card.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Red Glimmer Paper (from Occasions Mini), Love Impressions Designer Paper (from Occasions Mini), Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red
Other: Bitty Buttons, Big Shot, Top Note Die, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder
My second project is a pinwheel card. It's been in the mid-70s in my town for several days (although we are expecting a cold front later this week), and it just seemed like a time for bright colors. I hope you like it.
Stamps: So Happy for You (from Sale-a-bration)
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper & Quick Accents Paper (from Sale-a-bration)
Other: Spingtime Vintage Big Designer Button (from Occasions Mini), Pear Pizzazz Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
I've got one more project to share. My downline, Renee Lamb, shared this with me. Thanks so much, Renee! What a cute project for Valentine's Day. And, it can easily be adapted for any other holiday or special occasion. This cute top note holder is really easy to make, and the belly band holds it all together. There are three Hershey nuggets on the inside – just enough to satisfy that chocoholic's craving! Some of my co-workers will be surprised to find one of these cute projects on their desk for Valentine's Day!
Stamps: So Happy For You (from Sale-a-bration)
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Love Impressions Designer Paper (from Occasions Mini), Real Red, Whisper White
Other: Fancy Flower Extra Large Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Corner Rounder
Here's a close up of the belly band. Just a narrow piece of cardstock wrapped around the Top Note Nugget Holder.
Here's a picture of the inside. Take a 1" wide strip of the designer paper and wrap around the nugget. Then I ran a couple of strips of adhesive on the inside and stuck the nuggets down so they would stay in place. This cute little project will be one the ladies in hostess clubs will be making in February.

Great samples. Like the way you did your "candy wrapper". Great idea for Valentine Day!
I really enjoy seeing the quilting technique, it probably is a lot easier than real quilting. TFS
The topnote nugget holder is so cute. I never thougth to use the quilt idea for this box. So clever and just fun. Great Blog. I'll be back

Beautiful work! Love the quilted top note–it looks great with that paper!
Great techniques! I've never tried the pin-wheel, but now I have to! Exquisite choice of colors for it too! Thanks for sharing your talents with us on SUDSOL, on the tour and on your blog!
What a great use of the Top Note die – a nugget holder! I will have to try this one. Thanks for sharing.
Love the pinwheel technique! It's been so long since I've used it and you've inspired me to give it a try really soon!
Such great projects. That treat box is sure to be a hit.
