Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

Sneak Peek – Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper and Friends Never Fade

June 28, 2010 Leave a Comment

Stampin Up, Greenhouse Gala, Friends Never Fade

Our older son and his lovely wife celebrate their anniversary today.   He is a blessed man to have such a lovely, sweet wife (and we think she's blessed to have him, too!).  I made this anniversary card for them yesterday.

Recipe:

Stamps:  Friends Never Fade

Paper:  Very Vanilla, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Greenhouse Gala designer paper

Ink:  Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight

Cool Tools:  Scoring across the Daffodil Delight cardstock for just a little more interest

Embellishments:  1/8" Daffodil Delight ribbon

I absolutely love the new Greenhouse Gala designer paper.  It will be available in 3 days from the new catalog!

Here's a closer look at the flower from Friends Never Fade that I colored with markers and then stamped.

Greenhouse Gala, Stampin Up

Don't forget the inside of the card!  I put a strip of the Greenhouse Gala designer paper on the bottom of the right side of the inside of the card.  It's got a pretty border punched with one of our fun border punches.

Stampin Up, Greenhouse Gala, Envelope

Don't forget about the envelope!  It makes a big difference to decorate your envelope.  Usually I stamp something on the front of the envelope, sometimes on the back flap, but today I used a little more of the designer paper and covered the back flap.  Tip:  Cut your paper 5-3/4" x 2-1/2", adhere it to the back flap, then turn your flap over and trim off the excess.

Today's card is a quick and easy card.   Check back tomorrow for another sneak peek!

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Stamping!
