Here it is – a card using the hot new trendy painter's tape!
This is such a fun and easy technique. I used 1" wide painter's tape. You can use wider – it's all about what you like. I used 4 of the new In Colors. What do you think?
Ink: Basic Blck. Crisp Cantelope, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana
Cardstock: Whisper White, Glossy White, Coastal Cabana
Stamp Sets: Floral
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones
Check it out – no big shot. I can't remember a time when we stamped and we didn't use something with the big shot.
The white spot on the bottom strip of color on the card is from the flash on the camera. Oh my goodness. So sorry for that.
I did stamp and use the painters tape on the glossy white cardstock for the front. I used Whisper White on the insude.
Tip: After I stamped this large floral image with the new (and thicker) black ink, I used the heat gun to dry it. I did not want it to smudge with all the other work I'd done.
It's a gorgeous card in person. If this appeals to you, why not come and stamp with us? You will learn new techniques and have a fun time stamping with a really fun group of ladies.
