Hello! I'm back in town and happy to be home! We had a wonderful vacation, but it is good to sleep in my own bed again.
Tomorrow is my boss' birthday, so I made this card for him. I love the new owl punch, and I love punching the leaf out with the bird punch. Stampin Up just keeps giving us better and better things!
Cardstock: Playdate designer paper, riding hood red, early espresso.
Ink: Riding hood red and black.
Stamps: Confetti (you can't see it very well – but I stamped one of these images on the top of this card). You also can't see the inside, but I used the Happy Birthday (call me when it's time for cake) sentiment on the inside. This is from the Afterthoughts set.
Cool tools: Large scallop circle punch, 1-3/4" circle punch, 2-step bird punch (just for the leaf).
Embellishments: 1/8" wide early espresso grosgrain ribbon.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS-
First, on Saturday, July 31st, come by Kelli Satterwhite's house in Heath, Texas for Christmas in July. There will be quite a few other vendors besides me, and we will have a great time. There will be door prizes every 30 minutes beginning at 10 am. We'll be open from 9 am until 1 pm. I'll have a make and take and some gifts of my own. Y'all come on by. Email me and I'll give you Kelli's address.
Second, I am going to be part of the SUDSOL blog tour on Sunday, August 1st. Be sure and come back and see what fun things this group of very talented demonstrators have posted. I get great inspiration from this group, and I hope you will, too.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy stamping!
