Long post but worth the read. 🙂
I've done traditional stamp clubs since I became a Stampin Up demonstrator. Some of the ladies that stamp with me now have stamped with me from the beginning. We meet monthly. I prepare 3 projects, usually 2 cards and a 3Ditem, and they order at least $25 in merchandise. Once during the stamp club time, each member gets to be the "hostess" and gets all the benefits and free merchandise for that month.
So, what about the ladies that don't live close enough to Mesquite to stamp with me in a traditional club setting? FYI — if you live within 2 hours of me and have a group fo 5 or 6 that's wants to do this every month, I will come to you for a traditional club. All you need to do is provide a place to stamp, a snack (because we can't do anything in the South without food, right?!! haha!), and I will bring everything else.
Now, if you don't live close enough or have a group that would gather monthly, I am going to start a non-traditional stamp club. We will do it by email. Technology is so great…….. I will email out the complete color instructions for 3 projects on the first of each month. I'll give you a list of everything you need to make them. I'll teach you new techniques and I'll even make videos to post on my website to show them. You will need to commit to participating for at least 6 months and placing at least a $30 order each month by the 10th of each month. One of the months during that 6 month time, you will get to be the "hostess" and earn all the free merchandise and hostess benefits.
A couple of things — a club can have more than 6 people. The commitment will be 1 month for each participant, so if we have 8 participants, then we will need to commit for 8 months. That way everyone gets a chance to be the "hostess." Also, you can always order more than your $30. Especially during your hostess month, you may want to order more because the higher the sales for that month, the more free merchandise and hostess benefits you get. And, I am here for you. When you commit to be in a club with me, you get me. I'll be available by phone and email and I will help you in every way I can.
So, let's talk about when we might start. If you are interested, email me at suzanne@taylormadestamping.com. When we get at least 5 members, we'll start. Just to tempt you, I'm going to post a few pictures from past stamp clubs so you can see some of the items we've made.
Think about it………..you know you want to be part of this group!!
This picture doesn't do this card justice. It looks quilted because we ran the very vanilla layer with the lovely fall paper strips through the embossing folder. The mason jar, pear and sentiment have all been cut out with some of our new framelits.
Have you done any masking before? Here's a card where we did some masking and it turned out so pretty.
This card is gorgeous in person. You can't see the dazzling diamonds on the flower and the sparkle they give. It's beautiful.
We also do trendy and whimsical and masculine cards. So the styles vary and the colors and techniques vary. I want you to have fun and learn some new things for stamping.
This is a long post, but I wanted to give you a few more samples all in one place to tempt you to stamp with me.
This one is a little different style with some wading up of the paper and tearing.
And one last project – some Christmas purses made from Big Shot dies —
Aren't these cute? The ladies in Sulphur Springs LOVED the small purse. It's made with the petite purse die. The larger one is made with the Floral Framelits.
Now don't you really want to stamp with me and make cute cards and projects like these????? Email me.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope something you see here inspires you to stamp!
