Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

My New Favorite Stamp Set

August 27, 2011 Leave a Comment

There are so many gorgeous stamp sets in the new catalog and in the summer mini (and in the holiday mini that goes live on Sept. 1), but I think right now my favorite stamp set is Field Flowers (page 120, wood mount 117042 $20.95, clear mount 120540 $15.95).  One of the sentiments in this set is "My thoughts are happiest when you're in them."  Don't you love that?!

Now for 2 samples with this stamp set:

Well, the first thing to say about this picture is that the card is not some huge, strange size.  It's a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 size.  My picture just doesn't show that very well.

Stamp set:  Field Flowers

Paper:  Early Espresso cardstock, Neutrals designer papers, So Saffron cardstock, Very Vanilla cardstock, Cherry Cobbler cardstock

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso, So Saffron

Other:  So Saffron button, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Circle Big Shot Die, Circle Big Shot Die, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder

This is a gorgeous card, too.  Here are the "ingredients:"

Stamp Set:  Field Flowers

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Concord Crush

Ink:  Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush

Other:  Houndstooth Embossing Folder

I hope you enjoy these samples of the new Field Flowers stamp set.

There are lots of things coming up for us.  Here's a list of upcoming stamping events:

September 10th at 10 am:  All the ladies currently stamping in one of my hostess clubs and anyone else who might like to join one of my clubs will be coming to my house.  I've got some fun fall cards planned.  We'll stamp a stack – 5 different cards, 2 of each.  We'll draw months for when each of the ladies will be hostess and receive the great benefits and all the freebies.  If you would like to find out more about hostess clubs, come on by.  Let me know you are coming so I can have supplies for you.  It will be fun!

September 16 and 17:  If you live close to Sulphur Springs, come by the Lone Star Quilt Guild and check out all the beautiful quilts.  I'll have a booth there, too.  I'm contributing some fun stamping things for a door prize for the show and I'll be having door prizes at my booth during the 2-day event.  I'll have organizers, petite pocket gift card holders, scrapbooks, and lots more.  I'll post samples of some of the items in the coming days.

October 1:  Get a Jump on Your Jingle!  Renee Lamb and Amy Richardson and joining with me to plan a fun stamp camp.  You'll make 18 Christmas cards (6 designs, 3 of each) and at least 3 wonderful holiday 3D items.  Cost is $45.  Your spot is confirmed when we receive your registration fee.  After September 10th, the fee goes up to $50.  This will be an event you will not want to miss!  It will be in a large open area at Community Life Church in Forney and the seats are limited.  Contact me right away so you'll be sure to have a place.

Hostess clubs will begin again in October and there is another Christmas market in which I'll participate.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope something you've seen here inspires you to stamp.
