More Swaps!!! Aren't they gorgeous?!!
It will be hard to decide what cards to make in our Christmas card classes because all these samples really inspire me.
This one is with the new Bells & Boughs stamp set out of the holiday mini catalog.
This lovely embossed card uses the trees from Scenic Season out of the big Idea Book & Catalog (page 36). Don't you love the red bird? The silver embossing is gorgeous, too.
Here we've got some of the new Candy Cane designer paper, one of the Candy Cane buttons, and stamps from the Jolly BIngo Bits stamp set. These are all in the new holiday mini.
This is so pretty! Do you recognize the button from the Buttons #5 die? If you don't have a Big Shot, you really need one! The hearts are made from our new fabric and cut with hearts from the Heart Set, one of the Sizzlits 4-Pack Dies. Also, the Finial Press embossing folder has created a lovely background on this card. The Pinking Hearts Corner Punch creates some great interest on this card.
Oh Dasher – I love Dasher! Add a splash of designer paper and some seam binding and you have a great card that won't take a lot of time to create. It's terrific!
Here it's the Scallop Trim Corner Punch used to create the fun corners, together with some more designer paper and wonderful gold embossing. This is the Christmas Postcard stamp. Stampin Up gives us great choices — and I love the a la carte stamps. This stamp is $9.95. Check out the other a la carte stamps. I'm sure you'll find some you can't live without!
When I saw the Cute Christmas stamp set, I knew I had to have it. I absolutely love it! Use your markers to color a little (or your aqua painters), punch out the small images with one of our square punches, layer it on a scalloped square punch, add a strip of the new candy cane designer paper and a little ribbon and you've got a great Christmas card.
Okay – just one more cute card for today. This one uses a stamp from the Delightful Decorations set, a rhinestone (because you can NEVER have enough bling!) and some designer paper. Quick, easy and oh so cute!!
Tomorrow – more cards!
Are you thinking about making Christmas cards now? If you will leave me a comment and tell me what cards you'd like to have in a Christmas card class, I'll put your name into a drawing for a free class.
It won't be long now until my first class…….it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas……..
Thanks for stopping by. I hope something you see here inspires you to stamp!
