Good morning! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. I've got a fun card for our Merry Monday post.
I really like this card. It's bright and happy and just makes me feel good. Here's the info:
Stamp set: Christmas Wishes (this is a hostess set in the holiday catalog)
Paper: Gumball Green, Be of Good Cheer designer series paper
Ink: Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso
Embellishments/Other: 1" square punch (to make the "flag" end of the Early Espresso strip); Bronze Designer Buttons (from the Holiday catalog); Gumball Green ribbon; Cupcake Builder Punch (for the clouds); dimensionals; glue dots
Tips: I stamped the large image of the hot air balloon twice – once with Cherry Cobbler and once with Early Espresso. I cut out the basket and strip of reindeer from the Early Espresso image and adherred them over the Cherry Cobbler image.
Afterthought: Wouldn't it have been fun to have embossed the clouds with a pattern to make them look fluffy? Hmmm….next time.
Now for the envelope — and you know we can't have naked envelopes.
I used the tree stamp from Jolly Bingo Bits to stamp on the lower left edge of this envelope. There are lots of stamps in this set to choose from, and it's a great set to keep on hand to embellish that envelope or card or even a tag.
Let me know if there is any papercrafting project I can help you with. Now is the time to get your Christmas cards started.
Do you know there are only 77 days until Christmas!!!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope something you see here inspires you to stamp!
