Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

It’s time for Stamp Clubs again!

August 21, 2013 Leave a Comment

Are you missing our stamping time?  Do you NEED an outlet for your creativity?  Do you need some time with friends?  I can help with all that.  STAMP CLUB!!

It's time to start thinking about our stamp clubs again.  Have you seen the new holiday catalog?  I can't wait t hsow you.

Let's get together on Saturday, September 14 at 10 am at my house.  We will stamp and choose hostesses for each month.  We will also talk about some other classes I'll be doing (banners and Christmas cards!!).  I will have samples for you to see of some great banners that are super easy to nmake, and I will have some samples of upcoming Christmas card classes.

Remember for stamp club that you join for 6 months and one of those months YOU get the hostess benefits.  Each month you come and make 2 cards and some sort of 3D non-card item and place an order for at leasdt $25 of stamping supplies.  We will learn new techniques andyou will see the latest products from Stampin Up.

If you join in the fun and can't make it every time, that's okay.  Stampin Up has a new thing (and I know how to use it!) where you can place your order using a hostess code and have it shipped directly to you.  Now you don't have to wait for me to get it to you.  And, I will see that you get the fun things we made along with info on the new techniques we will learn so you don't miss out on the fun.

The first thing we are going to make on September 14th is a motion card with the new dies that just came out.  Some of you will remember when we made the motion card last year with the cute boot on it. We had to watch how far we ran the cardstock through the Big Shot so it didn't cut too far so that the part that needed to swivel would swivel.  Now, this new die takes all the work out of it.  It cuts ande scores and it's so easy!

No stress – no anxiety – just having fun stamping with friends!

Got a friend who hasn't stamped with me before and might be interested?  Bring her along and get a special gift.  If she signs up for a stamp club, you will get my discount on your first club order.  Woohoo!

So, mark your calendar for September 14th at 10 am.  If you have any questions, let me know.

Now — check out the cute cards below.  My friend Dawn made a card similar to these and I had to make some.  I used all five of the new In Colors and my new favorite stamp set Gorgeous Grunge.  I also used Yippee-Skippee.  You really cannot EVER have enough happy!

happy1Here's a close up of the card done in Coastal Cabana.  The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals and stands out nicely.  If Amy made this card, she would have sponged around the sentiment.  Right, Amy?  Maybe I will try that with my next ones.

I used the 1" square punch to make the flag on the end of the polka dot paper.  That 1" strip is from the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.  I love the new patterns this year!  If you don't have some, you really NEED some.

Do you remember using your stamp-a-ma-jig?  I pulled it out and used it for the stamps on the bottom of the card.  It was so easy to line them up.  I forgot how easy it was to use and how cool it was to do multiple images like this.  I also used the scallop edge punch for a little strip of very vanilla under the polka dot piece.

This card was easy and fun.  So, I made one in each of the In Colors.  Do you like them?  Don't you want Gorgeous Grunge???  If you can't wait until stamp club in September to order these fantastic supplies, you can shop 24/7 at my online store.  Just click on the icon and shop till you drop.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope something you see here inspires you to stamp.
