Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

Hostess Club Projects

August 10, 2012 Leave a Comment

Check out the projects from this month's hostess club —

We used the cute new framelits and matching stamp set together with one of the new packages of designer series paper.  Then we ran it through the Big Shot with one of the new embossing folders.  This lovely fan design makes the card look quilted.  I popped up the jar and sentiment and even the pear inside the jar.  Do you like it?

This is a new layered flower technique.  We used the bone folder to roll the edges a little and then snipped them with a punch — the Petite Pennants punch.  Isn't that a fun new way to use that punch?  This card is bright and really catches my eye.  I absolutely love the new clear faceted buttons.  I just can't use them enough.

And for our 3D project —

This bookmark is made from the two tags die.  We cut two of them and then glued them together at the top.  The fabrice flower was easy to make.  A few folds, a little pressing and then a little gathering stitch sewn around the edge.  Pretty cute!

There are still places open in hostess club if you want to make cute projects like this.  Let me know — it's a 6 month commitment to spend at least $25/month.  One of the months you get to be the hostess – have the party and your house or mine – and get the hostess benefits.  It's great fun!

Check back for the dates of my Christmas Card classes.  It's time to start thinking about that.  If we think about Christmas, will it make the really hot days not seem so bad?  Maybe……..

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope something you see here today inspires you to stamp!
