Happy Tails Week – Monday

The first card I want you to see is one I cased from Pinterest. If it’s your card, please let me know. I’d like to give credit to whoever came up with this really cute card. It’s a fun fold.

The card base is Real Red 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.
The fun Whisper White layer is 7 x 5-1/4, scored at 3.
The cute black and white check pattern is from the Botanical Butterfly DSP you can get for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration. It’s cut 1 x 5-1/4.
The Real Red square is 3-1/4 x 3-1/4.
I cut the Basic Black cardstock that same size and used the stitched square that was just about that size. I just love the Stitched Shapes framelits.
I used a scrap of Whisper White (we all have a lot of those, don’t we?), stamped the dog in Momento black ink, and punched out the cute dog.
I stamped the spots in Crumb Cake ink and the collar in Real Red ink.
The sentiment and paw prints and all stamped in Momento black ink. The dog house base is in Crumb Cake and the roof and slats are stamped over the crumb cake with Momento black ink.

Did you see that the dog punch also punches out a cute little heart? I punched that out in Real Red cardstock and stuck it on her collar with a glue dot.

The final touch is the 1/8 inch solid Real Red ribbon. I used a short piece and put it under the dog for a cute leash and then popped up the dog with dimensionals.
