Today is a special day. Twenty-seven years ago our family grew from two to three with the birth of a precious baby boy. Today we celebrate Todd — he is a wonderful man, a great Dad, son, big brother, and friend. I am a blessed Mom. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODD!!
Check out the card. It had to be blue. Okay – I doubt Todd will read this post, so I am going to tell this — he is a handsome man with blonde hair and blue eyes and I seem to drift toward blues whenever I buy something for him because they go so well with his eyes. ha! I have said this so many times before – and now he graciously accepts the fact that I buy blues.
Back to the card. Here are the specifics:
Cardstock: Tempting turquoise, whisper white, certainly celery
Ink: Tempting turquoise, melon mambo, certainly celery
Cool tools: Builder wheels, large star punch, small star punch, wheel guide
Embellishments: Gold brad, dimensional, turquoise 1/4" grosgrain ribbon
I rolled the whisper white cardstock with the cool new builder wheels. I inked the triple cell cartridge with certainly celery, melon mambo, and tempting turquoise. Tip: When you roll with this large hendle, I find it better to stand up and put pressure on the front of the wheel. Have you gotten some of these cool new wheels? There are even more in the new catalog! I punched out stars with the large and small star punches. I popped up the small certainly celery star in the middle of the tempting turquoise large star.
What could be quicker? Roll the front of the card, add a couple of embellishments, stamp a sentiment inside……and you have a fun card! I hope you like it. Here's a close up of the top edge with the stars. Thanks for stopping by. Happy stamping!
