Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

Gratitude Card with MANY Techniques

November 15, 2013 Leave a Comment

Check out this gorgeous card –

gratitude1This is such a beautiful card in person.  It incorporates a number of different techniques and parts but it is worth the effort for the finished product.  It is definetely an advanced class project.

I used the new Sweater Weather dsp, along with Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip cardstock.

We used the stamp-a-ma-jig.  Have you tried it?  Do you have one and don't use it?  It's my goal for you to enjoy using the things you buy from me.  If you got a stamp-a-ma-jig from me, I want you to know how to use it and enjoy it!  We did some faux sewing.  We did a little faux bowmaking.  We split cardstock to save on our supplies but you can't tell it at all.  I'm all about being frugal with my supplies, too.  That way I can make more and more cards!

We did "fussy cut" one of the leaves we stamped and used it on the inside – which is almost as beautiful as the outside with all the extra parts.

And, we did the rock and roll technique.  I did that years ago and then forgot about it.  I forgot how much I like it.  See the Cajun Craze on the edges of my leaves?  I did a little rock and rolling.  LOL.

And, can you see where I stamped with Gorgeous Grunge?  It's almost my very favorite stamps set ever.

This card is for my hostess club tomorrow.  I think the ladies will really enjoy it.  We are also making a quick and easy Christmas card that I will post next week.  Keep watching – I've got snowmen cards and washi tape cards to post and they are all lined up and ready to go.

If you are interested in joining our hostess club and having fun and learning new techniques (and refreshing old ones), let me know.  We can make a spot for you!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope something you see here inspires you to stamp!
