Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

February Stamp Club Projects

February 24, 2011 1 Comment

I have one more stamp club meeting this Saturday, but I'm going to go ahead and share the projects for this month with you.  I've had such fun with these projects.  I'm going to save the 3D project to share on Saturday, but I will show you the 2 cards.

Have you seen the Embedded Embossing technique?  You really need to see this in person.  Stamp your card with the flourish, then stamp the flowers on scrap cardstock and cut them out.  They don't look like they are stuck on do they?  Well, stick them down and then run it through the big shot with the embossing folder.  I used the textured wallpaper folder.  After you run it through the folder, you will love the look.  Of course, you need to put some pearls on it and some ribbon.  Great card.

Check out the inside.  I stamped the flowers off once and then stamped them inside.  I like the faintness of the stamps.  Don't forget your envelope.  I didn't show you the envelope, but I stamped flowers on it, too.  No naked envelopes…….ha!

This is a really fun card.  Do you have a stamp-a-ma-jig?  We had fun using it to make a perfect card.  Well, it looks pretty close to perfect.  Cajun Craze and Baja Breeze are a really good combination.

I hope you enjoyed these.  Check back for the 3D item from our stamp club.  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope something you see here inspires you to stamp.

Suzanne, you have just nailed it for me on this embedded technique.  Been seeing it for a couple of weeks, but you used my favorite stamp set and it's going to be …. not a card, but …. a topper panel for the Club's box project this coming week.  You're a genius, TFS! Celia
