Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

Convention Swaps

June 25, 2011 Leave a Comment

Stampin Up's annual convention is just a couple of weeks away.  I'm working on my swaps and here are a couple of the ones I'm doing.  Let me know what you think!

Here's the first of 3 cards made from the new Just Add Cake designer paper, the Fun Flowers die, and the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.  The cardstock is Poppy Parade, So Saffron,Whisper White and Wild Wasabi.

Do you see the cute sentiment?  I used the Designer Label Punch nd punched it twice.  It gives it a fun new shape.  I also put a little bling on the card.

Thanks to Connie Babbert who posted a design similar to this one.  It inspired me to make a few changes and try this.  She's so creative!

Here's a slightly different card.  The stripe part is a different stripe but it's still from the new Just Add Cake designer paper.

The stripe is cut with the big shot top note die and then cut in half.  Pretty cool idea.

This one is slightly different from the previous two.  The paper is still from the new Just Add Cake designer paper.  I've used Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Peach Parfait, and Whisper White cardstock.  The embossing on the So Saffron level doesn't show up very well, but it really adds a lot to the card.

Okay – it's 100 degrees here in town and I've got a Christmas card for you.  I'm going to make some of these for convention swaps, too.

If I make 100 of these, I probably won't put rhinestones around the scallope circle die, but they add a lot of glitz and sparkle to this one!

I used Lucky Limeade, Riding Hood Red, Daffodil delight, and Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Scallop Circle die and the kind of new 3-1/2" circle die.  There are dimensionals under the sentiment and the tree and the little yellow bird.

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope something you see here inspires you to stamp!
