Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

Coastal Cabana – Sneak Peek!

May 28, 2013 Leave a Comment

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

I've got another sneak peek to share with you.  This one uses the new Coastal Cabana cardstock as well as some other new In Colors.

Mosaic sneak peek 1

Here's the front.  I used Coastal Cabana for my base card and then another piece slightly smaller to emboss with the new Mosaic embossing folder.  I just love this shape!

Then I made my own designer paper.  I normally would practice until it was perfect………but this time I just went with it.  I think the slightly imperfect placement of the shapes add to the character of it.  🙂  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I cute a slightly narrower and longer pice of the new Crisp Cantelope cardstock and put it under my new designer paper.  You will love this color when you see it up close!

The ribbon is crumb cake (not new).  The sentiment is from a new hostess stamp set and it's stamped in Baked Brown Sugar.  Don't tell…….but I didn't really think I was going to like this color, but then I used it……….and it may turn out to be my favorite!  It's got almost a golden tint to it.

Then here's the inside:

Mosaic sneak peek 2I am going to miss this stamp set.  It's not in the new catalog……but I'm using it today because I just love it.

Check out the little strip of my designer paper at the bottom of the inside.  Again I stamped it with the same stamps as my piece of designer paper on the front and it just adds a little WOW to the inside.

I hope you like this.  If you are coming to my catalog reveal party on Friday night, you will get to make this.  And, my friends in Sulphur Springs will get to make this on Saturday.

By the way, if you are coming on Friday night be sure and let me know.  I've got some yummy smacks (Lisa's pound cake and her chicken salad………..to die for!) and some fun things planned.  Hope to you see you at my house this Friday night from 7-9 pm.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope something you see her inspired you to stamp.
