Hello! This past Saturday a group of ladies got together at my house. We talked about when we would start the next round of hostess clubs and what we would do. Of course we stamped! I cased Connie Babbert's great card that used bubble wrap. This was so fun! Brayer your ink on the bubble wrap and then lay it face down on your cardstock and rub the cardstock to transfer the ink. If I had a spare clean brayer, I would have used it than to help the transfer of ink from the bubble wrap to the cardstock rather than rubbing it with my hand, but my hand worked just fine. The unique design is so cute! So sorry that my pictures didn't turn out too well – they really don't do this cute card justice.
We used "Happy Family" and stamped in Early Espresso, then watercolored with our aqua pens just a little bit on them. The flower is cut with the Flower Fusion die on the Big Shot and the leaves are just 2 of the petals of the 5 petal punch.
Stamp Set: Happy Family
Cardstock: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz
Ink: Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight
Tools: Pinking Hearts edge punch, aqua painter, brayer, bubble wrap (haha – who would have thought bubble wrap could be a tool!), 5-petal flower punch, hole punch
Embellishment: Chocolate Chip brad
Here's a very poor teaser picture of another project we made on Saturday. I thought the pictures turned out well, but unfortunately they did not. We used "Artistic Etching" and embossed in white, black and clear. The card turned out well and I'll show you better pictures tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope something you see here will inspire you to stamp!
