Finally — a card without Greenhouse Gala designer paper! Have you seen the Mojo Monday sketches? Every Monday there is a new one posted. It's just a sketch, but it helps get the creative juices flowing. Then as the week progresses, folks post their very creative takes on the sketch. As I looked at last week's sketch and browsed through the sketches, I saw one similar to this one and I was inspired!
I did use designer paper from the new catalog on this card. It's called Newsprint. It's not our typical sort of paper, but I think you are going to really like it.
Here are the specifics about the card:
Cardstock: Very vanilla, basic black, cherry cobbler, and newsprint designer paper.
Ink: Cherry cobbler and black.
Embellishments: Black 1-1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon and very vanilla brad old neutrals collection.
Cool tools: Vintage wallpaper embossing folder and new big scallop circle punch.
I stamped the crown and key off a couple of times and then stamped them on very vanilla. I cut them out and adhered them to the card.
This "flower" is made from 2 scalloped circles. I saw this technique on Mary aka The Stamp Doc's video and had to try it. Pretty, cool?!
I hope you will browse through the link to the new catalog. Check out the new punches, gorgeous designer papers, ribbons, and other embellishments.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope something you see here will inspire you. Happy stamping!
