Here are the projects we made in our April clubs —
Stamp Sets: Bold Blossom (in the Occasions Mini catalog and carried over into the new Summer Mini!), Bring on the Cake (from the Occasions Mini catalog)
Paper: Sunny Garden designer series paper, Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait
Ink: Poppu Parade, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black
Embellisments/Other: Brights Brads, 3/4" circle medium punch, 1" circle medium punch, 1/16" circle punch, Very Vanilla 1/2" seam binding
The technique we used for this card was ruffling ribbon. It's easier with the seam binding, but it can be done with any of our other ribbons.
This card is spectacular – the sparkle really sparkles when you see it! 🙂
Stamp Sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Build a Blossom (from the Mini Occasions catalog)
Paper: Marina Mist, Rose Red, Whisper White, Springtime Village designer paper (from the Mini Occasions catalog)
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Embellishments/Other: Textured Wallpaper embossing folder, Heat and Stick powder, Dazzling Diamonds, Antique Brads, 1/8" Marina Mist ribbon, Blossoms Petals Punch (from the Occasions Mini Catalog)
The technique that we used on this card was with the Heat and Stick Powder.
For our 3D project, we made a lovely bookmark.
Talk about pretty – this really is!
Paper: Pink Pirouette
Embellishments/Other: Fun Flowers Big Shot die (from the Occasions Mini catalog), Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Basic Pearls, White Satin 5/8" ribbon
We used the Big Shot to punch out all these flowers at one time. Then we textured one of them with the embossing folder, adhered them together with dimensionals. We cut a 16" strip of ribbon and attached it between the bottom two layers. This reminds me of Mothers' Day – maybe it's the pretty pink cardstock.
We had a wonderful time in clubs this month. If you are looking for a fun group and some time of stamping, let me know. We'll meet on May 7 and May 21 this monthg. Both times are at 10 am and at my house. Email me at suzanne@taylormadestamping.com. You'll really enjoy it!
