Occasions Mini Swap – Part 1

January 20, 2011 Leave a Comment

I was part of the SUDSOL Occasions Mini Swap last week and I received some of the most beautiful cards.   I will definitely be CASEing them, but I have to share some of them with you now.

This first card is a hybrid from Phyllis Strickland.  It's gorgeous!

Stamps:  Sew Suite

Cardstock:  Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White

Ink:  Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black

Accessories:  Digital Download – Sweet Stitches designer series paper, Pompom Trim – Daffodil Delight, Designer Big Buttons – Sweet Stitches, Basic Rhinestones

The designer series paper is a download for My Digital Studio inserted into Word and scaled for use on a card.   If you are interested in knowing more about the My Digital Studio software that Stampin Up offers, email me at suzanne@taylormadestamping.com.   This is a very versatile software – you can make cards, calendars, and scrapbooks.  Come on over to my house – or invite me over to yours – and I'll show you all about it.

This card is from Phyllis Jachowski.  I love the 3D aspect of this card with the heart shaped treat cup and the safety pin.

Stamp Set:  Button Button, Sweetheart, Sew Suite, In Stitches wheel

Paper:  Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Patterns Stack – Brights (Melon Mambo)

Ink:  Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Concord Grape, Tempting Turquoise, Versamark

Accessories:  Clear Emobssing Powder, Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder, Heart Treat Cups, Paper Buttons, Bitty Buttons, 1/2", 3/4" and 1" Circle Punches, Full Heart Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Small Heart Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punches, Scallop Trim Border and Corner Punches, and sewing machine stitching.

Okay – did you catch that – sewing machine stitching?  Yes!  Phyllis stitched around the green print leaves.  How fun is it to be use all the elements you have for your cardmaking and scrapbooking?!

You need to see this card up close to appreciate the details.  Email me and we'll set up a time to make some of these.

You can order all the things you need to make either or both of these cards from my online store 24 hours a day.  It makes shopping easy!

Check back tomorrow for more of the swaps I received.  You will not be disappointed.

I hope something you see here inspires you to stamp.  Thanks for stopping by.
