Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

Happy New Year!

July 1, 2010 Leave a Comment

Happy New Year!  Today begins Stampin Up's new year.

I said my next post would be a card that did not use Greenhouse Gala designer paper – but I just had to show you this one.  Tomorrow I'll Stampin Up, Greenhouse Gala designer paper, Tangerine Tango, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Perfect Punches, Peach Parfait, Daffodil Delight, Scallop punchshare a card with the new newsprint designer paper.  You are going to love it!

I was inspired by Patty Bennett to make this card.  I hope you will be inspired, too.

One of my favorite stamp sets from last year's catalog is Baroque Motiffs.  I love the swirls.

Recipe:

Paper:  Pear Pizzazz, Tangerine Tango, Greenhouse Gala designer paper, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White

Ink:  Tangerine Tango

Stamp Sets:  Baroque Motiffs, Perfect Punches

Ribbon:  Certainly Celery

Cool Tools:  Big Shot Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Curly Label Punch, 1-3/4" Large Circle Punch, Sponge

Stampin Up, Perfect Punches, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, big shot, scallop punch, daffodil delight, tangerine tango, baroque motiffs, curly label punch, sponging Here's a close up of the cute punched parts.  I ran some peach parfait cardstock through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and then punched out a circle with the 1-3/4" circle punch.  I sponged some Tangerine Tango ink around the edge.  When I sponge these days, it makes me think about Amy.  Amy stamps with us and loves to sponge!  Amy, if you read this post, you will enjoy this card for lots of reasons, especially the sponging!  It adds a little bit more interest to the circle to have that darker orange around the edge.

I layered the peach parfait piece on a piece of Daffodil Delight that had been punched out with the new large Scallop Punch.

Several of the things I used on this card are available in the new catalog today:

Tangerine Tango classic stamp pad #111834 – $5.95

Tangerine Tango 8-1/2×11 cardstock #111349 – $6.95
