Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

Facebook Live 8/20/2020 Fun Folds

August 21, 2020 Leave a Comment

Hello! Yesterday we made 2 fun fold cards. We used the same template but I couldn’t help but make 1 into a Christmas card. It’s almost time to start thinking about those Christmas cards!

Do you love this beautiful Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper?
Choose a pattern you love (it’s hard because they are all so pretty!) and cut it 11-3/4 x 5-1/4. Score at 1-3/4, 4-3/4, and 7-3/4.
For the card base, cut a piece of coordinating cardstock 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.
For the inside, cut a piece of whisper white 3-3/4 x 5.

I used the Ornate Borders dies for the pretty die cut shape. I used Bumblebee.
Then I used a die cut from the Stitched So Sweetly dies out of Whisper White.
Stamp your sentiment in memento black.
Fold along the score lines, add the die cuts and a few sparkly things like rhinestones and you have a cute and pretty easy card.

Then if you are in the mood for a little Christmas, how about using a piece of the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper for our beautiful patterned paper. Add coordinating cardstock following the same measurements as above, and in just a few minutes you have a beautiful Christmas card.

What do you think? Which one do you like the best?

One more thing – have you seen the new Stampin Cut & Emboss machine? I have one and have used it quite a bit and it works really well. It’s quiet and smooth. But here’s the biggest thing – I ran these intricate dies from Ornate Garden through and every piece fell out! It was amazing! I’m going to tell you it’s worth the money for these intricate dies!! If you are interested, message me and I’ll tell you all about how you can get it for a big discount now.

Catch me on our SuSu Sisterhood facebook page each Monday morning at 10 am for our Coffee and Cards facebook live. Grab a cup of coffee or Diet Coke or whatever is your drink of choice, and we will make a couple of quick and easy cards. Join me on Thursday evenings at 6 pm and we will make a new funfold or more involved couple of cards.

If you don’t have a Stampin Up demonstrator and would like the current catalogs, I’d be glad to get them to you and work to earn your business. Just message me and I’m happy to help with your stamping needs. Take care. Be safe.
