Happy 4th of July! Today I am especially thankful for the men and women who have served and are now serving in our armed forces. My Dad served in the Army during WWII, my uncle enlisted during WWII and served through the Korean war and Vietnam and retired from the Navy, my father-in-law was in the Army, and I have many cousins who served and are serving now. Thank you for your service. The words of the Lee Greenwood’s song “God Bless the USA” have been running through my mind today. If you haven’t heard it or even if you have, today is a good day to listen again.
It’s a great time to be a papercrafter! I have several really fun things to share with you today.
My class schedule –
Tuesday, July 11 – 6:30 pm – all occasion card class at Audubon rec center. 8 cards for $20. Must register online through the City of Garland or at the Audubon Rec Center in person. Fun times!
Saturday, July 22 – 10 am – Embossing Paste Class. Join me for a fun class where you will learn to use one of my favorite new products – Embossing Paste. You will make 4 cards each using different techniques and go home with your own embossing paste, palette knives, decorative masks and silicone craft sheet ($30 value). Cost of the class is only $30.
Monday, July 31 – 6 pm – Monthly birthday card class. Make 8 beautiful birthday cards with matching envelopes for $15 or free with a minimum order.
Saturday, August 12 – Watercolor class. Make 6-8 projects, get your own package of our new watercolor pencils, and learn some fun watercoloring techniques. You will get your own package of watercolor pencils and a package of watercolor paper ($25 value). Cost is $40. Space is limited so RSVP right away.
Monday, August 28 – 6 pm – Monthly birthday card class. Make 8 beautiful birthday cards with matching envelopes for $15 or free with a minimum order.
Saturday, September 9 – 10 am – 2 pm – Holiday kick off party! Join me and we will make 12 holiday cards, 3 other Christmas projects and have a yummy lunch of chicken salad made by some dear friends. You will get your own newly released stamp set and a package of designer series paper ($37 value), have lunch and make some beautiful projects to get started with the holiday season. Cost is $45. This class will not be at my house so we can accommodate lots more ladies. You will have the chance to sign up for Christmas Card Club running once a month through December to make lots of FABULOUS holiday projects and cards.
