Suzanne Taylor, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2009 and love it more today than I did when I started! I love sharing the fun of paper crafting with others and seeing their joy as they create something beautiful.

More Valentines

February 14, 2014 Leave a Comment

Over the last several weeks, I've made a number of Valentines and worked with a lot of ladies to make Valentines.  I thought I'd share some of those with you.  I hope you enjoy them.photo 2I saw this on Pinterest.  It's a paint chip.  I used the new Scallop Tag Topper punch on the top and then the heart punch down the side.  I can think of lots of other possibilities thanks to my friend AND NEW STAMPIN UP DEMONSTRATOR Lisa.  I'm so excited that she's joined our group and that she's got so many wonderful creative ideas.

photo 1I love this card, too.  It has a Crumb Cake base stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set with Real Red hearts attached with dimensionals.  I used the Heart framelits for the hearts and embossed one of them.  Do you have the new Follow Your Heart stamp set?  The sentiment is so beautiful – I followed my heart and found you.  How romantic!  I used that great new Scallop Tag Topper punch for the Very Vanilla tag, then stamped the Eiffel tower from the Follow Your Heart stamp set on it.  That's a red glimmer heart punched out with the small heart punch and attached with a glue dot.  There is a little linen thread on the tag just because I thought it needed something through the tag hole.

photo 3Talk about a fun card —  This really is!  I used clear blocks to stamp the red frame and the white rectangular image.  Then that cute Eiffel Tower again and another red glimmer heart.  A little bow helps finish this card.

photo 4Here it is – my $10 card.  A friend of Kerry's at work asked if I would make a $10 card.  Could I make a $10 card?  Of course!  I opted for an over-sized Crisp Cantelope base and some of the Sweet Sorbet designer series paper.  There's a big silver glimmer heart, then a crisp cantelop heart that is embossed, then another silver glimmer heart, then another crisp cantelope embossed heart.  They are all attached with dimensionals.  Do you see the rubbled ribbon around one of the hearts?  I love that the ribbon has a little stretch to it.  Then I used my cute bow maker to make a triple bow.  One more time I used the sentiment from the Follow Your Heart stamp set.  I made a matching envelope.  It's hard to tell, but the card is sitting on top of the envelope and you can see the back side of this pretty crisp cantelope patterned paper.  On the inside of the card there are more punched out hearts and a special sentiment.

I made another oversized card for Kerry, my sweet hubby, but I'm not showing it today.  Maybe another day.

Don't forget about the wonderful specials going on right now.
